Congratulations to the Sequoia NJB D3 team (3rd and 4th graders) that won their league championship to wrap up their 2011 season!!

Head Coach Scott Norton, friend and supporter of Team Esface for years with several kids in our year round programs, had elite Team Esface trainers (including Coach Dele, Coach Remi and Coach Manny) work with his boys every other week to ensure his team continued to developed their skills and basketball IQ throughout the season, setting them apart from their competition.

The Journey: These young ball players started off strong decent, losing a couple close matches to formidable opponents but continued to work towards success, staying hungry and staying esface all along.  Mid-season, they lost one of their key big men but somehow maintained their valiant, competitive fire until he rejoined them right before playoffs.  They embraced him as their brother and proceeded to defeat team after team until ultimately winning it all and being awarded their first serious piece of hardware, the Silicon Valley Gold trophies that you see held by their star point guard below.
