Sports House – Team Esface’s New Home In Final Stretch of Construction
Posted by admin in entertainment on October 8th, 2012
We recently dropped in at Sports House in Redwood City, where Team Esface will be running its future clinics and camps. It’s a fitting place for Esface – cutting edge, grand, and full of energy, and we can’t wait to get balling in there once it opens this November.

Sports House – The New Home of Team Esface
Posted by admin in entertainment on August 17th, 2012
Expected to open in November 2012. The Sports House in Redwood City will be the largest indoor sports facility on the peninsula. With free Wi-Fi, two indoor turf fields for lacrosse, soccer and indoor football, four volleyball courts, two full-sized basketball courts, and a Sports Cafe with hot food and healthy snacks, it is going to be, in a word, spectacular.
And what makes it even more spectacular is that Team Esface has partnered with the Sports House, using their facilities to train existing Team Esface programs and help create new programs and events for the large and diverse community of peninsula athletes.

On a beautiful August day, Team Esface players, parents, and coaches came out to EPA Academy in Menlo Park to celebrate Team Esface’s tremendous 2012 season. Highlight videos, sports, good company, and good times were shared by all. And in the spirit of the hot new ‘Stay Hungry’ t-shirts, the burgers, hot dogs, chips, dips, and salads were all cheerfully mauled by the Esface family. Here’s a few photo memories from the day. Thanks for making it out!

Team Esface Recap From This Weekend
Posted by admin in entertainment, Uncategorized on June 12th, 2012
This was a wonderful and exciting weekend for many of the Team Esface teams. As we have surpassed our mid-point, all of our teams have now experienced successes big and small. It is a true joy to see the teams and individuals growing as a result of their commitment. Here are a few of the highlights from this past weekend:
Team Esface Varsity:
Played with tremendous effort and enthusiasm. Its evident when watching this team that they truly love and enjoy the game. They battled a heavyweight squad from Sacramento with a couple of towers in the finals but came up short for a solid and extremely respectable 2nd place finish.
Team Esface Girls:
With contributions from the sorely missed Aryanna Goodarzi and the lights-out shooting from Mckenna Izzy, the girls were able to cap off the weekend with a strong finishing win.
Team Esface 8th combo:
The 8th grade red and black teams combined forces to storm Sacramento and take no prisoners. Playing together for the first time and challenging a 8th and 9th grade bracket, the boys scraped out a win in their first game. As they became comfortable with each other, the combo team became a force and dominated the rest of the field cruising to a 1st place finish!
Team Esface 7th Red:
A hard fought game brought the 7th Red their first victory of the season!! Congrats boys, the program is proud of all your hard work!
Team Esface 5th Red 2:
Took home 2nd place in the No Mercy Tournament! This team continues to make huge strides and was rewarded with a great weekend. Team Esface HQ is very excited about the 5th grade class and the what the future has in-store for them…..
Last but not least…. Team Esface Men’s Elite:

The two Team Esface teams met in the championship coincidentally, so either way it was a victory for Team Esface. But just for the record, and bragging rights, Coach Dele and Remi’s team won.
With 30 teams registered, there were 116 players total in the tournament, with the games divided into 3 categories:
