The Black Club program houses Team Esface’s most competitive teams and require the highest level of dedication from our families to develop well-rounded athletes. This program requires an invitation to join and those that are invited to the Black Club are recognized as the top 10-15% of their grade (both in skill and basketball IQ).

The Fall/Winter Black Club season takes place from August 20th, 2025 - March 1st, 2026.
Fall/Winter option: HIGHLY DISCOUNTED, features a six-plus month long season (August 20th-March 1st)
Fall only option: August 20th - November 21st
Winter only option: November 30th - March 1st
Our Fall/Winter Black Club season will focus on the following elements:
TWo WEEKDAY TEAM PRACTICES
There will be two, high-energy 90-minute team practices each week where athletes will learn offensive and defensive strategies. We will also focus on team skills and concepts. On non-tournament or league weekends, a third weekly practice will take place on Saturdays

Nine local tournaments, fall league, and elite coaching weekend colabs
This Fall/Winter, the Team Esface Black Club is taking on top Bay Area talent in the Golden Gate Fall League, featuring four Saturday tournaments and a two-day championship weekend in September and October. After GGFL, we'll compete in nine more high-level local tournaments (average of 3 games per tournament). To boost player development, we're introducing “Super Saturday” workouts on non-tournament weekends, focusing on skill enhancement, basketball IQ, and team community.

1-Travel - National tournament
Black Club teams will be entered into a Nationally Certified Tournament on MLK Weekend! Historically, this has taken place in Anaheim but stay tuned for this year as we are exploring all West Coast options!

academy-Style roster
At the beginning of our season, we will evaluate athletes to ensure they are placed on the Black Club team that best supports their development. The team you are invited to may change during the first few weeks of the season and you can expect for changes to be made until early October. By that time, our rosters will be set.
Training opportunities
Individual skill development is one of the many areas where Team Esface excels compared to other AAU programs. We offer multiple training opportunities throughout the week for Black Club athletes to enhance their skills outside of team practices and tournaments. Our flagship program, Transformation, is a four-week training program designed to provide athletes with personalized training in private or small group settings. Additionally, Black Club Vitamins are 60-minute skill development sessions held exclusively for Black Club athletes. These sessions offer a great opportunity for athletes to compete against their teammates and other Black Club members. Often, Vitamins are followed by Open Gym sessions, allowing athletes to showcase their training in live game situations.
